Project Overview
This video is a mock launch video highlighting a new feature to a fictional healthcare app, Aura. My goal was to create a fast-paced and exciting video to demonstrate both the value of functionality of the new feature.
Concepts
Since this video was launching a new feature, I wanted to keep things more streamlined. We start by introducing the pain point and then give a brief product flow to see how the new feature solves it.
Design
I don't have the opprtunity to design UI very often, and I took this opportunity to have some fun with it. I heavily leaned in to Apple's Liquid Glass motif to make the dashboard feel super modern and sleek.
Admitedly, it's probably not the most functional design, but I had fun building something that fit the overall style of the video.
Execution
My main goal was to keep this video engaging with constant movement—whether it be from background elements or subtle camera movements. In particular, I wanted to experiment with zoomed in shots to really highlight a specific user interaction to the viewer.
I love how this section turned out and how it both keeps the video engaging and adds to the story of the interaction.

With some music and SFX as the cherry on top, this video was done. I had a lot of fun designing and animating this piece. I think it was a great way to continue pushing myself as an animator to experiment and bring in even the smallest details to make the video even better.
