Project Overview
Invert is a bioprocessing data software company that helps teams make sense of complex process data. I created a short animation for their website that highlights how easily users can turn complex datasets into meaningful visualizations.
Design
Much of the design process focused on condensing and adapting Invert’s UI in a way that clearly showcased the workflow yet remained recognizable to the software.

I carefully selected which UI elements to feature, simplifying them just enough to keep things readable and visually clean—while still representing the functionality of Invert’s software.
Execution
One of my personal favorite parts of the animation was animating the data card that appears when a user hovers over a line on the graph. I wanted this detail to stay true to the software experience, so I used expressions to dynamically display accurate data values on the card.

While small, I think this detail reflects the overall focus on functionality and clarity that I wanted to bring to the overall animation.

This project was a great opportunity to translate complex software into a clear, engaging visual story. I was excited to dive deeper into UI animation, and I had a great time collaborating with the team at Invert to bring it all to life.
