Project Overview
Working with the lovely team at Bluebird Branding, I created these logo animations for Beecher Construction. The company is a real estate development firm that provides project management and owner's representation services to their clients. On the left is a more robust animation to introduce the brand, and on the right is a simpler outro animation used at the end of content. I was provided the logo graphics and the project took 1 week to complete.
Execution
I wanted to build on the blueprint style that the Bluebird team was using in a couple of still assets by drawing on the logo and scribbling in the fill on the letters. I added a subtle animation to the lines themselves to add a bit of roughness and to add to the hand-drawn look.
For the outro, the "Building Perspective" tagline sparked the idea to make the faux 3D "E"s the focal point of the animation. Seeing the flat E turn to reveal the second one was a perfect visual support of Beecher's mission.

I had a blast working on these animations. Logo animations provide the opprtunity to pack a lot into a little, and I love how we were able to tell two stories in these short animations.
